donumenta invites artists* to apply for the Artist in Residence programme in Regensburg in an open call. It is aimed at creative artists with a focus on installations or interventions in public space. donumenta e.V. focuses on the many different perspectives that artists* from 14 countries of the European Danube Region offer.
On the subject of HERITAGE TODAY/TOMORROW, donumenta e.V. opens a dialogue with the international artists* about their historical heritage, their own and the other, about similarities and differences.
With the DAL - Danube Art Lab, the association developed a laboratory for contemporary, interdisciplinary art and culture in 2017 as part of an EU project for the city of Regensburg, which will be continued in the coming years.
In August and September, artists* from one of the 14 countries of the Danube basin research, develop and discuss their project ideas on the subject of HERITAGE TODAY/TOMORROW in Regensburg. donumenta e.V. plans to realize the projects in public space in the following year.
