donumenta ClimArt Artists for a Resilient Future Opening June 21, 2026, 11:00 a.m., World Heritage Visitor Center, Regensburg

Art in Public Spaces from June 21 to September 15, 2026

Climate change manifests itself in droughts as well as extreme heat and heavy rainfall events. It demands adaptation processes. In the UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg, change and preservation are often discussed as a contradiction. The effective implementation of climate resilience is a particular challenge here.

donumenta ClimArt – Artists for a Resilient Future

is a project by donumenta e.V. for artists. Through interventions in public spaces, they demonstrate how art can initiate and effectively implement social innovation processes.

Gabi Blum, Ulrika Eller-Rüter, Markus Jeschaunig, and Folke Köbberling address central issues of environmental and climate change. These issues affect us all and demand that we take active steps toward the city of the future.

Upcoming August 2026: Pierre-Yves Delannoy & Mauricio Hölzemann, Arcaden Regensburg
