Neue Werke der donumenta AiR-Künstler*innen

Vier Künstler*innen, Artists in Residence des donumenta e.V., präsentieren ihre Werke im Öffentlichen Raum der UNESCO Weltkulturerbestadt. Ihre Ansätze sind mal politisch, mal historisch und immer poetisch. Mit ihren Installationen eröffnen sie einen geistreichen und anregenden Dialog mit Tourist*innen, Einheimischen und Welterbereisenden – vom 27. Juni bis zum 31. September 2025.

Alexander Rosol on Aussiger Straße / donumenta e.V. Embraces Climart / Symposium in the Fall

With “Space Shifter” in the mobile donumenta ART LAB on the Move, donumenta e.V. has achieved self-sufficient power supply. Until July 26, Alexander Rosol’s artwork will be illuminated at the Aussiger Straße using electricity generated by a newly installed photovoltaic system. Inspiring, courageous and full of life - these are the works of the internationally in-demand video artist Betty Mü. Visitors can immerse themselves in the extraordinary art of the Munich-based artist at two locations: In the Am Wiedfang studio, the artist is showing VORTEX - artworks made of glass that develop a dazzling life of their own using the Artivive app. For the facade of the Historisches Museum, Mü worked on the allegorical figures of a historical painting as video mapping:

Betty Mü in Regensburg - AI sets women from historical paintings in motion

Premiere of the video mapping “INSIDE/OUT - LOVE, PEACE, JUSTICE, STRENGTH, WISDOM” by Betty Mü on International Women's Day 2025 at the invitation of donumenta e.V. at Dachauplatz in Regensburg. The in-demand media artist transformed the female figures from a painting by Isaak Schwendner from 1592, which hangs in the Old Town Hall in Regensburg, and set them in motion in the windows of the Historical Museum using rear projection and AI.
