Eine Strickmaschine gibt den Rhythmus vor, eine Nähmaschine singt, ein Spinnrad führt den Dialog mit elektronischen Sounds. Stephanie Müller, aka Rag*Treasure, and Klaus Erika Dietl are an artist duo from Munich. At donumenta ART LAB on the Move—this time in Glashüttenstraße—the textile artist and painter explore the many aspects of change in their installation and performance piece “Das Glück der kalten Jahre beißt” (The Happiness of Cold Years Bites).
Rag*Treasure is punk. They draw from a treasure trove of used clothing, separating and reevaluating what the globalized clothing industry had already declared waste....

Rag*Treasure are an artist duo from Munich. With a work by textile artist Stefanie Müller and musician Klaus Erika Dietl, the donumenta ART LAB on the Move will move to Glashüttenstraße at the beginning of August. For their performative installation “The happiness of the cold years bites”, Rag*Treasure use used items of clothing and textile upcycling as well as music from sewing and knitting machines.
