donumenta e.V.
donumenta ART LAB on the Move
The donumenta ART LAB on the Move shows art in public spaces at changing locations - in the city districts as well as in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage City. Wherever suitable spaces are lacking, we fly in our transparent art cube. Where the cube with a side length of two meters lands, art becomes the talk of the town. Between the poles of science and art, the donumenta ART LAB on the Move sees itself as a field of experimentation. “We bring art to the people” - this is the donumenta principle for site-specific art in public spaces.
Between March and November, donumenta e.V. regularly shows changing installations by international artists or groups. Visitors can expect interdisciplinary art experiences.
donumenta AiR – The Artist-in-Residence-Program by donumenta
donumenta e.V. regularly invites artists from the Danube region to spend a month in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg. Under the motto HERITAGE TODAY/TOMORROW, the artists-in-residence develop ideas and sketches that are ultimately realized as temporary in-situ installations in public spaces. In return, artists from Regensburg and the region take part in the artist-in-residence programs of the Artist-in-Residence-Platform Danube Region.
The purpose of this international exchange is to strengthen artistic dialog in the European Danube region.
